Diversification of the Economy

Building on previous work from the Southland Regional Development Strategy (SoRDS), we want to continue to consider, develop and assess how the region can continue to diversify its’ economy. A more diverse region and economy, means we are less exposed if one of our large employers or industries changes. We have identified four key workstreams which fit our strengths as a region.
