Approach
Beyond 2025 Southland is working with Great South as the Regional Business Partner with central government and the Southland Chamber of Commerce who led the Business Transitions Just Transition research project.
The intent is to focus on understanding the pathways and support networks for existing local businesses to be innovative, remain competitive and create capability. Please note that there will be overlaps with other workstreams – Skilled Workforce Development and Attraction and Retention.
We will also look at further development of Southland Murihiku as a globally competitive marketplace, including an understanding of the region’s geographic positioning.
